My four books are part of a series detailing the links between psychotherapy and Catholic anthropology. Each book focuses on a distinct domain within the Catholic understanding of the human person through the lens of psychotherapeutic theory and practice. In addition, each chapter of each book includes distinct psychotherapeutic and theological resources as well as questions for participants.
My goal is to "proclaim the word; (to) be persistent whether it is convenient or inconvenient; (to) convince, reprimand, encourage through all patience and teaching" (2 Timothy 4:2). Though the word of God is always timeless, the terms we use to describe and integrate our faith with the concerns of the day are always human. So too, while I draw on the best of Church teaching and psychological research, I also write to make our Catholic faith more accessible.
