Carolyn Astfalk writes contemporary Catholic fiction, primarily romances heavily influenced by St. John Paul II's Theology of the Body. Her 2019 novel, All in Good Time, is the recipient of a gold medal in the Independent Publisher Book Awards (religious fiction), a finalist in the Next Generation Indie Book Awards (religious fiction), a finalist in the IAN Book of the Year Awards (Christian fiction) and received an honorable mention in the 2020 Catholic Book Awards, Catholic novel category.
Her other novels are Stay With Me, Come Back to Me, Ornamental Graces, and Rightfully Ours. Each has received the Catholic Writers Gild Seal of Approval. She has also contributed short stories to the Catholic Teen Books anthologies Secrets (a past Catholic Book Awards winner), Gifts, and Treasures.
She is vice president of the Catholic Writers Guild and a member of Pennwriters and Catholic Teen Books. Carolyn is also a Catholicmom.com contributor and formerly provided a regular column to Today's Catholic Teacher magazine.
