Carla Quigley Art
Doing Art and being creative has always been a part of who I am. I feel most at peace when making
something beautiful. In college, I studied graphic design and have worked as a sign painter and muralist.
I find that my yearning for creating beauty is constantly enhancing my vocation as a wife, mother and
grandmother. When I volunteered at my children's Catholic school to teach an art club, I found myself
talking to the children about how "God is the greatest artist of all"! And while trying to show the kids
about how art can be connected to God, my own art became something I used to express myself in acts
of worship. God fills my heart until it overflows with love that must be expressed. Like a pebble
dropped into a pond, we can all create ripples that go out from us into the world. Today, the Holy Spirit
compels me to create and share my work as a way of evangelizing about the Truth and beauty of the
Catholic faith, one tiny ripple at a time.
My paintings are reproduced onto acid-free, archival quality, linen textured paper using vibrant liquid
inks. My local printing company uses an Indigo Digital Press printer to produce vivid prints that are
excellent reproductions of my artwork. Each print comes in its own clear plastic sleeve with a stiff
backing board. And I take the time to write a small story describing my thoughts and intentions which I
fasten to the back of each print. I also have around 30 of my paintings available as greeting cards. They
are beautifully printed 5" X 7" cards and come with a white envelope. My cards are blank on the inside
and ready for your customers to write their own special sentiments.
I would love to join with you in this mission to evangelize by having my colorful prints and cards
displayed in your store.
