Where is the CMN MOMENTUM 2019/Trade Show taking place?
At the Lancaster Convention Center in Lancaster Pennsylvania, 60 miles West of Philadelphia
When is it taking place?
Tuesday, July 30 is set-up day for exhibitors. It is also the Business as Ministry Seminar which is open to both exhibitors and attendees to attend some or all of the sessions. The exhibition floor is open Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. On Friday from 9 a.m. to 1p.m.
Who can attend?
MOMENTUM 2019 is a member-exclusive Trade Show event and is NOT open to the public. A large portion of our attendees are retailers and distributors of Catholic products and programs, who sell & purchase on a wholesale basis. We also welcome CMN member ministry and business professionals, suppliers, media, authors, artists, and speakers.
I am very interested in attending the show, but I am not a current CMN member, what do I do?
You can join the CMN as a member HERE, and then register an attendee. Catholic Media outlets considering participation as an exhibitor please contact Alan Napleton directly.
Does the Catholic Writers Guild Live Conference meet concurrently with the 2019 CMN Trade Show?
Yes. CMN is the major corporate sponsor of the Catholic Writers Guild Live Conference by providing Guild members access to the exhibit hall, conference meeting spaces, trade show booth space, and a pro-bono table at the Welcome Reception author meet-and-greet.
How can I obtain a Visa letter invitation for the CMN show?
The CMN will provide a visa letter for each attendee who requests it. To require a visa letter please email Alan Napleton at email@example.com
Do you provide child care services?
No, The CMN does not provide child care services.
What paid experiences are a ticketed part of the CMN MOMENTUM 2019 Trade Show Event?
a) Tuesday Business as Ministry Seminar: Continental Breakfast $10.00 (USD)
b) Tuesday Business as Ministry Seminar: Seated Luncheon $20.00 (USD)
c) Thursday MOMENTUM IMPACT Luncheon with world-class speaker speaker $20.00 (USD)
Other networking/social activities will include a cash bar and some food provided at no charge courtesy of the CMN and our sponsors.
Is there a registration fee for CMN members?
There is no registration fee for any member whose CMN membership is paid and active. Free admission to the trade show along with four other staff members is a valuable benefit of CMN membership.
Can I still attend the MOMENTUM 2019 Trade Show event if my membership is not current?
If your membership is not current, you need to renew your membership for either $75, $199, or $399, based on your preferred membership level. Once you are a member, you can attend the show for free. Click here to renew now.
How do I register if I am a member?
Registration can be done at the CMN website trade show page.
I am a Catholic retail, business or ministry professional and not currently a CMN member. Can I still register to attend the event?
Yes. Start with a basic membership for $75. You can apply to become a new member, and once your membership is approved, you can register to attend the show for free.Your membership MUST be active before entering the exhibit hall or attending any networking events.
Can I attend the show if my membership has expired?
Yes, if your membership is lapsed, you can make arrangements to join or renew your membership at the show for either $75, $199, or $399. Click here to join or renew now.
How many people can be registered under one membership?
Up to 4 attendees can attend the MOMENTUM 2019 Trade Show Event as guests, included as part of one member’s group. Each person attending will need to be registered and wear an event badge. Each Paid CMN member can attend the Tuesday Business as Ministry Seminar presentations with one guest attendee.
Can I register at the door?
Yes, registration will be open during the entire show. If you do not have a current CMN membership you can join, and register, on site.
When will I receive my show badge(s)?
At the on site Registration Desk you will receive your show badge.
What happens if I lose my badge?
Go to the Registration Desk and pick up a new badge.
If I cancel my pre-registration, will I get a refund?
The CMN must be notified in writing or email 60 days ahead of the opening of the event to receive a refund. No refunds will be made after the 60 days.
Does the hotel offer special discount to trade show attendees?
The CMN has negotiated a discounted rate of $139/night at the Lancaster Penn Square Marriott hotel. These hotel rooms are conveniently located with indoor access to the exhibit hall.
When should I make my hotel reservation?
If you want to stay at the Lancaster Marriott, which is the hotel connected to the Lancaster Convention Center, you will want to make your reservations ASAP. There is a limited block of CMN discounted rooms for $139 and they are available on first-come first-serve basis.
How can I book my room?
To book your room(s) go to the “Book your room” button on the CMN website to get the special discounted CMN rate.
Can I have WiFi access in my room?
Yes. To have WiFi access in your room, you must be a Marriott Rewards member. To become a Marriott Rewards member, click here. Instructions for use of WiFi will be provided at check in.
Can I book my room directly from the hotel’s website?
Yes. BUT you will NOT get the CMN special discount rate.
Can I cancel my hotel reservation?
Yes, there is a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you have booked a room as part of the discounted block, and you find you will not need the room, please cancel the room to make it available for other attendees.
What are my airport options to get to the Lancaster Convention Center and the Lancaster Penn Square Marriott Hotel?
The closest major airport is Harrisburg International Airport 30 miles away. The Philadelphia International Airport is located 60 miles away and may offer less expensive air fares. The local Lancaster Airport is a small, VERY convenient airport about 15 minutes from the Convention Center.
How do I best navigate travel from the Harrisburg International Airport?
From Harrisburg International Airport you can rent a car and drive to the hotel/Convention Center or Take a taxi or UBER to the Harrisburg Amtrak station (about a 15-minute ride) and then take the Amtrak Keystone line to Lancaster. From the Lancaster Station, you can catch a cab, UBER, Route 3/Park City C bus or the Red Rose Transit Historic Downtown Trolley to the Lancaster Convention Center.
How do I best navigate travel from the Philadelphia International Airport?
From Philadelphia International Airport: Rent a car and drive to the convention center or Take or take a cab / taxi / UBER. The cost may be over $120 depending on the time of the day.UBER may take longer than an hour depending upon the time of the day. You can also take the train from Philadelphia to Lancaster. The Amtrak Keystone line leaves from Philadelphia 30th street station, which is located in the airport. The train runs frequently during the day and the ride to Lancaster is a little over an hour, and the train offers free WIFI access. The ride on the train can be a very pleasant part of your trip. Once you arrive at the Lancaster station, take a taxi, UBER or the Route 3. Park City C bus or Red Rose Transit Historic Downtown Trolley to the Lancaster Convention Center.
Is there a local Lancaster Airport that I can plan a connecting flight to?
The local Lancaster Airport is an option to consider if you are willing to make a connecting flight. Southern Airways iflysouthern.com flies 3X daily Monday through Friday to Baltimore and Pittsburgh. Once daily on Saturdays to each airport and twice on Sundays to Baltimore--once to Pittsburgh. The planes are small (no more than 20 passengers) but the flights are cheap and range from $29-$49 one way. They are expanding their service to serve other airport in PA this year, so it may be a viable option. There is a car rental there and free parking or you can use a taxi or Uber to get to the Marriott.

Can I park at the hotel’s parking garage?
Yes. Park at the hotel’s parking garage or any of the Lancaster Parking Authority lots.
Is Valet parking available?
Yes, Valet parking is available for $35 daily
Is there a parking fee for hotel guests attending the show?
No. Overnight self parking is complimentary to all who have booked a room under our CMN room block.
Is there a parking fee for trade show commuters?
Yes. There is a $7 parking fee per day for commuters attending the show, but we do have $7 parking coupon tickets for each commuter who parks in the attached garage or any of the Lancaster Parking Authority lots.
How do I get the $7 parking coupon ticket?
When you come to the show, present your Lancaster Parking Authority ticket at the CMN Registration Desk and we will provide you with a $7 coupon ticket. Upon exiting the garage, you will insert the regular parking ticket along with the $7 coupon ticket to receive the reduced parking rate.
Can I use the $7 coupon at any parking lot?
These $7 coupon tickets are valid at the attached garage, as well as any parking garage owned by the Lancaster Parking Authority.
On the hotel’s website, parking rates are different. Can you clarify?
For our CMN show commuters, the parking fee is $7 daily and they get a $7 discount coupon ticket. For hotel guests, self parking is complimentary. Please disregard the information on the website.
Do exhibitors have to register as attendees in addition to reserving booth space?
Yes. For security reasons, each person participation in MOMENTUM 2019 in any way reeds to register so they can be given an identification badge. This includes both exhibitors, guests, and attendees.

What is the deadline for submitting any paid advertisement to be printed in the Tradeshow program?

When and where do I send the Trade Show Bag Inserts?

What is the deadline to send in trade show bag inserts?
Inserts must be received by July 20, 2019, at the General Exposition Sevices drayage warehouse.
When can I register for the Wednesday Author/Artist Meet and Greet event?
Can I substitute any of the furniture items listed in the CMN Exhibitor Guide?
No substitutions are allowed.
Does my booth come with electricity and WiFi?
No. If these services are needed, you must submit an order form from CMN exhibitor guide to the Lancaster County Convention Center for service.
When can I set up my booth for the show?
Tuesday, July 30, 2018 from 8:00 am until 11:00 pm
Can I leave my vehicle in the loading dock area while I set up my booth?
Vehicles may not be left in the loading dock area for any reason except for loading and unloading.
Can my kids/family members assist me off load my booth items and products at the loading dock?
YES, but children under 16 are NOT permitted on the loading docks during Load In / Out.
Can I park in front of the hotel to off load my exhibition products and materials?
NO! Follow the loading instructions outlined in the CMN Exhibitor guide.
What are the trade show floor exhibition hours?
Wednesday, July 31 – 9 AM to 5 PM, Thursday, August 1 -- 9 AM to 5 PM Friday. August 2 – 9 AM to 1 PM
Can I sell any of my items during the show?
Wholesale orders are permitted and encouraged. Sales of items at a retail price may occur on the show floor, but it is the responsibility of the exhibitor to know and follow the sales tax guidelines applicable in the state of Pennsylvania in doing so. Exhibitors are permitted to sell down their samples on Friday. Catholic Marketing Network assumes no responsibility for any exhibitor who fails to honor the laws regarding charging and paying applicable Pennsylvania sales tax.
Can I smoke at the Convention Center?
No. The exhibit hall and the hotel are non-smoking facilities.
Are pictures/video recordings allowed?
Not only allowed... but encouraged.
What are the Show Floor Restrictions?
a) The MOMENTUM 2019 event is not open to the general public. It is a Members only /Trade Show event.
b) No pets are allowed in the exhibition hall unless as service animals.
c) Attendees are not allowed on the exhibit floor prior to or after exhibit floor hours for security reasons.
